Art has been a constant which has greatly enriched my life. Blessed with an artist mother and an art collector father, I was introduced to art both as a viewer and participant at a very early age. I have adored it ever since. I have visited art museums and galleries all over the world ( living in Europe for six years helped a great deal with this) and I have never tired of experiencing art as an expression of our world. I have learned so much from viewing the work of the great masters as well as more contemporary artists and I endeavor to keep learning. I am dedicated to growth and improvement and I find art, in all its complexity, challenge and beauty, so very rewarding. As an artist, my hope is to make accessible, inviting paintings which, if only for a moment, remind the viewer of his or her own perceptions of humanity, culture and art itself. Every painting should be a personal, intimate experience for the viewer, just as it is for the painter. I feel honored to be a part of the rich tradition of art and I am committed to a standard of quality and integrity in every piece I produce.
